Three day catch up

I am catching up today for a weekend spent without painting.

My studio today

See my new painting rack which I devised and someone helped me build.
All paintings are off the walls and floor..just white walls will let me conceptualize more freely!
This is todays...Based on a beach scene ...more light in colors less intense.

Here are the last two days paintings ...I have unified with brushstroke and color .
They lead into eachother...happy accidents.

I am having a great time with these pieces. Working in Oils again is refreshing. Trying to let the colors and movement dominate. I built a rack for my paintings ...I will show you tomorrow.

Thanks to some friends who nudged me I have created a whimsical piece for the day.

Blocking in phase of a portrait of Gabriella- Dont get scared

I have decided to show you the piece that I am working on. This is phase one where I simply lay in the composition and block in the lights and darks.

The Future

So many of my hopes and aspirations are
for my kids. I want them to feel the endless
possiblities ... the yes of life.
